Essay: How integration works

Engage your audience and integrate your messages
for consistent global impact and improved results

It's time to re-evaluate how to communicate. The world of business is changing and it's important to understand how to present information effectively. It doesn't matter if the message sells a product, a service, a company, a feeling. What matters is doing it well.

Customers are audience; to reach them requires telling a good message—a good story. The story provides information, opportunity, and solutions to problems, and calls the audience to take immediate action. If a potential customer can't figure out what's going on, the likelihood of cementing a deal drops significantly. The value of integrated, holistic, storytelling has never been more critical.

Too often, the message gets fragmented, disjointed, and inconsistent. The web site tells a story, but the printed collateral tells a different story, and there's also a PowerPoint presentation, an advertisement, a video. Soon nothing makes sense. Each medium has a methodology for effective use and they're not the same. Without an overall integration strategy to unify all the messages, they fail.

That's where I step in. I integrate communications. One story, one message, presented in segments that reinforce each other. Read my portfolio. Then call me at 425 208-5130.
